Pouneh Shamloufard is a pediatric dietetic intern with U-M Patient Food and Nutrition Services. During this internship program, she has enjoyed being a voice of support and encouragement needed for the recovering patients to adapt and continue their newly established diets. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences in Iran, followed by a master’s degree in the same field from San Diego State University. Her plan is to pursue her career in clinical nutrition and education.
