Our Vision: Understand, Treat, and Prevent Food Allergies

Nearly 15 million Americans live with food allergies. Many are required to be constantly vigilant about the ingredients in the food products they consume, fearing a life-threatening allergic reaction.

The Mary H. Weiser Food Allergy Center is committed to addressing all aspects of the food allergy problem. Our world-class faculty work tirelessly to find solutions that will transform diagnosis and lead to effective therapies. We are examining how nutrition impacts immune cells, developing a blood test to predict the severity of a person’s allergic reaction, and advancing a vaccine that could change an immune response to food. There’s much more.

Your gift today will enable us to advance projects that will help us understand, treat, and prevent food allergies. You can:

  • Fuel leading-edge collaborative research
  • Help translate discoveries into therapies
  • Increase access to educational services
  • Expand caregiver support programs
  • Support the sharing of best practices and scientific information
  • Provide new opportunities to trainees and early-career faculty

We hope you are inspired by our pioneering approaches and our long-term commitment to improving the lives of people with food allergies. Your generosity will enable us to provide hope to patients and families here and around the world.
