Giving to the CSI Singapore-Rogel Cancer Center partnership
Global partnership speeds progress against cancer
Donations to international cancer research foster connections, progress, and hope
Focused research, global impact
At Michigan Medicine, your donation — no matter the size — empowers our doctors and scientists to ask bold questions and pursue answers for patients everywhere.
Giving to global cancer research unlocks new possibilities. Your generosity connects us with leading partners around the world, helping us discover untapped potential, expand shared knowledge, and find breakthroughs faster.
Founded through philanthropy, our partnership with the Cancer Science Institute (CSI) of Singapore — part of the National University of Singapore, a leading academic medical center — is one new way we are turning hope into action.
With donor support, we are developing new options for treatment, better approaches to care, and ultimately, the cures patients need now.
Your donation enables us to:
- Develop innovative international cancer research partnerships
- Connect with global experts and build on shared knowledge
- Foster scientific growth through trainee exchanges
- Improve patient outcomes through professional development opportunities
Highlight: Progress against lymphoma
A CSI-Rogel research team is exploring the biology of lymphoma in the brain and has identified several potential new treatments. Donor support is enabling this lifesaving research to continue through a postdoctoral exchange between the labs.
Furthermore, this work was shared with experts from across the United States at the prestigious American Society of Hematology 2025 Annual Conference, expanding its reach and impact.
Donations make these advances in cancer research possible. Thank you for helping us lead the way to breakthroughs.
Cancer incidence and types can vary greatly by geography. International collaboration gives each institution access to expertise and resources — such as tissues of various cancers — that are unique or more prevalent at the partner institute. This expands our research opportunities, deepens our understanding of cancer mechanisms, and helps us identify therapeutic targets to improve patient care.
