Why Michigan Medicine? Which attributes of this organization persuaded you to join us?
Michigan Medicine’s recognition as a premier academic medical center is world renowned. On a more personal note, a close family member received medical care here while undergoing a serious medical challenge and terminal illness. While we were prepared to move him to another premier medical center on the east coast, he refused to change hospitals and his care team because he viewed the compassionate and attentive care he received at Michigan Medicine as truly world-class. I consider it an honor to become a member of the Michigan Medicine family.
What is your proudest moment in your career?
My proudest moments have always been the success and achievements by “everyday heroes in the execution of their duties."
What is your favorite way to unwind at the end of a busy day or relax on the weekend?
I am an avid NCAA sports fan – particularly during the March Madness tournaments – and have been known to “talk a little trash” (but only when provoked!).
