Senior Living Week starts off with a bang at the Senior Living Week Expo on September 30.

Additionally, experts will be presenting on a variety of educational topics throughout the week around the county. We look forward to seeing you at the Expo, workshops, and open houses.

Workshop Description:
Culture is an integrated pattern of behavior that includes values and practices, common to a group of people. Explore how diverse perspectives shape health beliefs and behaviors, and culture’s impact on interactions between patients, providers, and the healthcare system. Gain knowledge and skills to provide culturally responsive care, and recongize the value of equitable care. University of Michigan Health will provide 1.0 Social Work CEU at the completion of this activity (pending).
