Michigan Medicine Healthcare Equity Month is intended to raise awareness, encourage action and showcase Michigan Medicine- and U-M-led efforts around systemic health care inequities experienced by historically marginalized and underrepresented groups.

“Building Bridges for Belonging and Inclusion,” this year’s title, will feature a collection of hosted presentations welcoming invited speakers, film screenings, book discussions, community sessions, and currently 25 events from across Michigan Medicine and beyond focused on the theme of “The Intersectionality of Healthcare Inequities.”
