The 24-month Frankel Cardiovascular Center (Frankel CVC) Administrative Fellowship is designed to provide early career healthcare leaders with hospital and administrative training in an academic medical center.

The Frankel Cardiovascular Center (Frankel CVC) Administrative Fellowship is a two-year program designed to provide early-career healthcare leaders with training in an academic medical center.
The Frankel CVC Administrative Fellowship consists of leadership development and learning opportunities across a broad spectrum – clinical care, research, education, strategic initiatives, finance, and community outreach to support the Center’s mission and vision. The fellow will work with their preceptor, the Chief Administrative Officer and Managing Director of the Frankel CVC, as well as the Fellowship Director, an assigned mentor, members of the administrative team, and the second-year administrative fellow, while also engaging with other Frankel CVC and Michigan Medicine leaders.
The Frankel CVC Administrative Fellowship Program includes two named fellowships, both generously donor funded. The two named fellowships offer identical experiences, and the spots are filled on an alternating (every other year) basis.
- In 2015, the Samuel and Jean Frankel Foundation gifted the University of Michigan $1 million to establish the Linda R. Larin Administrative Fellowship Fund. The fund was created to honor Linda R. Larin, the Frankel CVC’s inaugural Chief Administrative Officer, for her accomplishments in leading patient- and family-centered care initiatives across U-M Health.
- In 2022, the Foundation gifted an additional $2.25 million to establish a similar fund to honor Stefanie L. Peters, the current Chief Administrative Officer and Managing Director of the Frankel CVC. The Foundation recognized Stefanie for her unwavering dedication to advancing our missions of patient care, research, and education.
