Bixby handles communications for several areas within the University of Michigan Medical School, including the Office of Medical Student Education. She previously was the communications lead for RISE (Research. Innovation. Scholarship. Education) and the Center for Interprofessional Education. Bixby joined the University of Michigan in 2016 and has worked at Michigan Medicine since 2022. She previously worked in communications and marketing for higher education and professional theatre in Ohio.
