Successful Rehabilitation Begins with Innovative Research
Gifts are propelling our ground-breaking work forward, including:
- Rehabilitation for people with neurological and orthopedic disorders
- Individualized therapies
- Transforming the future for adults and children living with physical disabilities
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is working to prevent health challenges and protect those who seek our care. Our faculty are at the forefront of science and bursting with innovative discovery. And, with our commitment to medical education that will bring forth generations of experts in the field, your gift will impact patients’ lives.
Giving Opportunities
Gifts provide Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with funds where they are most needed or opportunities are greatest, from upgrading or replacing a critical piece of equipment to providing important resources to researchers and clinicians.
Your gift will support the Theodore Cole Resident Research Day, which provides residents with opportunities to share research ideas and to receive feedback from prominent researchers in the field of PM&R.
For children and adults with physical disabilities, opportunities for play can be difficult to come by. You can help UMAISE change this by providing quality local, low-cost sports and recreation for all ages.
With your gift, our faculty and staff can continue their innovative work in researching and treating the major side effects of cancer and cancer treatment.
