Jes Peterson is an artist based out of Lafayette, Indiana, with an MFA in ceramics, textiles, and printmaking from Purdue University. Her work is inspired by and explores the fragility of nature through porcelain clay that is hand-built using casting slip. The colors and textures which inspire the work come from lichen, moss, and underwater textures.
